COLORADO FLAVORED AMERICANA
Chris’ Americana/Folk songwriting is inspired by friends, family, community, and the natural environment. His songs convey positivity and transformation with a sense of place in Colorado and the American Southwest. He has released several studio albums produced by Don Richmond at Howlin’ Dog Studios – “Where You Find It” 2008, “From Down Here” 2011, “If Down Was Up!” 2014, and “It’s About Time 2015”. With his bands 9 Mile and 18 Mile Radius Chris has been the opening act for Asleep at the Wheel, The Bellamy Brothers and Firefall. He has also shared the bill as a songwriter with Robert Earl Keen, Dean Dillon (co-write credit), Buddy Cannon and Brent Cobb. Chris currently performs house concerts and small listening rooms. He is the host of a weekly KBUT Community Radio show on Thursday evenings called Song in the Walls. In addition to his love of music and songwriting Chris is a ski instructor, sailor, whitewater raft guide and culinarian.
